Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, the well-known luxury expedition line in German-speaking countries, is offering two new ways to save on bilingual expedition cruises onboard its ship, the Hanseatic inspiration, with one offer specifically for solo travelers.
Travelers can enjoy saving 20 percent on the Epic Expedition Chilean Fjords itinerary, a 15-night expedition cruise that departs December 5, 2025. The trip sails from Valparaiso to Ushuaia, visiting Chile’s fjords, Torres del Paine National Park, two glaciers, the Strait of Magellan and the Kirke Narrows.
Travelers who take this journey can enjoy immersive experiences like Zodiac cruises and expert-led hikes.
The discount is available now through August 31, 2025. The current rate includes charter flights.
Additionally, solo travelers will enjoy paying no single supplement for the cruise line’s Chilean Fjords and Antarctica journey, a 22-day trip departing January 29, 2026.
Solo cruisers will enjoy a more affordable experience across eight different cabin categories and enjoy visiting Ushuaia, Puerto Montt, the Falkland Islands, South Georgia, the Southern Orkney Islands and getting up close and personal with some of the starkest landscapes and intriguing animals on the planet.
The HANSEATIC inspiration was built in 2019 and can carry a maximum of 230 guests, offering an intimate ship experience. All cabins and suites offer outside areas, while dining includes a Japanese-Peruvian specialty restaurant.
Travelers can enjoy lectures on the destinations they visit, relax in the Ocean Spa, or spend their days kayaking, paddleboarding or doing other expedition activities. The crew speaks German and English onboard.
