
Cosmos is introducing three diverse North America tours next year – one which explores the Southwest’s national parks, another focusing on rock, soul and country music in the Southeast and a third that puts the spotlight on US history in destinations such as Washington, DC, Philadelphia and Virginia – and with rates starting at just $235 per day.
The new nine-day “Grand Canyon & Utah’s Mighty Five” itinerary from Phoenix to Las Vegas will explore six national parks, including Grand Canyon, Arches, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, Bryce Canyon and Zion. Other highlights include a Navajo-guided four-wheel drive excursion through Utah’s Monument Valley, and visits to Utah’s Dead Horse Point State Park and Sedona, Arizona.
Traveling round-trip from Atlanta, the 11-day “Music & Legends With Elvis & Dolly” tour will visit Elvis Presley’s birthplace in Tupelo, Miss., and include tickets to a show at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. Optional visits will be available to Graceland in Tupelo, Mississippi, Studio B Nashville and Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. The itinerary will also visit the Tina Turner Museum in Townsville, Tennessee, and the Colonel Sanders Museum in Corbin, Kentucky.
The 10-day “Untold Tales of Historic Trails” will feature guided tours of Philadelphia and Washington, DC, along with guided visits to Shenandoah National Park, Gettysburg National Military Park and Valley Forge National Historic Park. Other highlights include visits to Annapolis, Maryland, Virginia’s Fredericksburg, Richmond, Charlottesville, and Monticello, Thomas Jefferson’s primary residence and plantation.”
