HotelTonight has recently revealed some of the best destinations for last-minute Labor Day Weekend hotel deals, and the list may surprise you.
Families looking to have some fun in the Theme Park Capital of the World will be pleased to know that Orlando is one of the best cities for cheap accommodations. For example, popular properties like the Element Universal Orlando, DoubleTree by Hilton, and Fairfield Inn and Suites offer nightly rates from as low as $99 to $105 per night.
Elsewhere in Florida, Fort Lauderdale won’t break the bank either, with stays like Hotel Dello coming in at an affordable average of $108 per night.

Underrated Baltimore is another exciting potential last-minute destination where Labor Day Weekend revelers can score great deals on iconic stays like the Lord Baltimore Hotel from $143 per night or The Inn at Henderson’s Wharf from $192 per night, according to HotelTonight.
In California, Oakland and nearby Silicon Valley offer the potential for last-minute travel savings. The former features deals like the Hotel Shattuck Plaza or DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel from $216 per night on average, whereas Silicon Valley properties like Hotel Vue ($101 avg/night) and Aloft Sunnyvale ($123 avg/night) can be had for under $125 per night to close out summer.
Staying out West, Portland and Phoenix are also splendid spots for your final summer getaway. The hipster haven of Portland features awesome rates like $113 per night at the Moxy Portland Downtown or $133 per night at Hotel deLuxe, for example.
Meanwhile, travelers can score discounts in the desert at Phoenix area hotels like Hotel Adeline and The McCormick Scottsdale, where nightly rates range between $101 and $216 on average, according to HotelTonight.
Rounding out the list are destinations like New Orleans, Houston and Minneapolis, where travelers can still save on a holiday weekend hotel stay at a wide range of accommodations from boutique hotels to chain properties.
