IHG Hotels & Resorts is expanding in Mexico with the signing of six new voco hotels, which will convert existing hotels into the stylish premium brand.
The hotels, signed in partnership with Alliance Hotels, who own the existing properties that will be converted, will open in 2027 across six different locations in Mexico, including Cancun, Guadalajara, Ciudad Juarez, San Luis Potosi, Torreon and Nuevo Laredo, for a total of 848 rooms.

IHG Hotels & Resorts is prioritizing conversions to grow its presence around the world: conversion properties account for 57 percent of the hotel giant’s global room openings during the first six months of the year.
