Airlines has announced special fares to scenic fall destinations across its
network.
From September 22 through September 24, 2025, passengers can
book flights starting at $44 one way to some of the best U.S. cities known for
autumn colors. Fares are valid for travel from October 7, 2025, through December
17, 2025, to exclude Friday through Sunday travel with select blackout dates.
“There’s no better way to welcome the fall season than by
scoring a great deal on flights to see autumn’s changing colors,” said Rana
Ghosh, Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at Spirit Airlines.
“Travelers can trade their daily views for a getaway to scenic destinations
across our network while enjoying our high-value service along the way.”
Autumn destinations include:
Boston (BOS) Nonstop
service from eight destinations offering stunning views of fall foliage
with a city backdrop. The Boston Common and Public Garden, two of the city’s
most iconic and historic parks, are known for their trees bursting with autumn
colors creating picturesque landscapes. Salem, just a short drive away, is renowned
for its fall foliage and autumn activities
Detroit (DTW) With nonstop service from 24
destinations, guests can explore trails and parks brimming with autumn foliage
or drive to nearby iconic leaf-peeping areas. Travelers looking for a truly
immersive fall experience can take a scenic drive from Detroit toward Northern
Michigan for the iconic Tunnel of Trees Scenic Byway.
Indianapolis (IND) Nonstop service from eight
destinations gives travelers access to vibrant fall foliage. Indianapolis is
home to Fort Harrison State Park with over 1,700 acres of scenic trails, and
Eagle Creek Park, one of the nation’s largest city parks with trees full of
fall colors on a trail system with over 3,900 acres of forest and 1,400 acres
of water. Visitors can also enjoy fall festivals throughout the city.
Richmond (RIC) Spirit offers nonstop service to
Richmond from two destinations and one-stop options from 29 hubs. Guests can
enjoy panoramic views of Richmond at Libby Hill Park, over 20 miles of
beautiful trails at James River Park System and take in the vibrant fall
foliage around the city. Just a short drive away from Shenandoah National Park,
RIC travelers can ride along the crest of the Blue Ridge Mountains on the
Skyline Drive for the ultimate leaf peeping experience.
Rochester (ROC) Travelers can fly into Rochester from
two non-stop destinations and 20 one-stop options. A gem in the northeast for
fall foliage, Rochester has been dubbed the Grand Canyon of the East.
Letchworth State Park is a prime destination for leaf peeping in with its
almost 600 feet deep gorge, three major waterfalls and over 66 miles of hiking
trails.
