For the first time since 2006, North Lake Tahoe is undergoing a rebranding with a new name – Lake Tahoe Travel – which is designed to mirror the diversity of the destination’s 12 towns, and the depth of the visitor experiences.
Effective Oct. 1, North Lake Tahoe will debut its new name, a new logo, an enhanced website, and the “Dive In” campaign, which showcases the destination’s stunning scenery while emphasizing the meaningful experiences it offers.
“Lake Tahoe Travel represents the next chapter in how we share the Tahoe experience with the world,” said Andy Chapman, president and CEO of Travel North Tahoe Nevada.
“This brand speaks not only to the iconic beauty of the lake itself, but to the communities, people, and stewardship efforts that make this destination truly one-of-a-kind,” he added.
The Dive-In campaign will run through this fall and spring via digital and social media, partnerships and public relations initiatives.
“This new brand is designed to resonate with today’s traveler,” said Adam Wilson, chief operating officer of the North Tahoe Community Alliance.
“It reflects both the adventure above the surface and the deeper stories of sustainability, culture, and community that define Lake Tahoe.”
