
Virgin Voyages is partnering with Google Cloud to use generative AI across the cruise line’s business.
More than 50 specialized AI agents on Gemini Enterprise have now been deployed across the company, including “Email Ellie,” which supports hyperpesonalized marketing outreach.
The agent was trained on Virgin Voyages’ cheeky, clever tone to help the brand expand its reach without losing authenticity.
Since launching “Email Ellie,” the Virgin Voyages marketing team has spent 40 percent less time creating campaign copy. The AI-generated campaigns have also contributed to a 28 percent year-over-year increase in July sales.
Virgin Voyages and Google Cloud are also developing the next series of AI agents, with a goal of enhancing travelers’ experiences and boosting crew satisfaction.
