Norwegian Cruise Line will offer a separate beverage package at Great Stirrup Cay next year.
Starting March 1, 2026, guests will no longer be able to use their onboard beverage packages at the private island destination in the Bahamas. Instead, they’ll have to purchase a new beverage package for their time at Great Stirrup Cay.
“Further details on the new beverage package available at Great Stirrup Cay will be shared in the future, and guests will be able to purchase their package beginning January 1, 2026,” a spokesperson said in a statement shared with TravelPulse.
The goal of this change is to “provide our guests the flexibility to curate how they experience” the destination. The beverage packages available will be “crafted exclusively for Great Stirrup Cay.”
Water, iced tea, juices and other beverages will be free and readily available on the island, the spokesperson added.
The change comes amid several major enhancements at Great Stirrup Cay, including the construction of a new pier and a new waterpark that’s slated to open next year.
