The Travel Institute unveiled $100 savings, representing a discount of 23% on its TRIPKIT advisor training program through October, in tandem with its Trip of a Lifetime fall drive to promote fundamental knowledge for new advisors.
The savings are being offered in conjunction with The Travel Institute’s Lifetime fall drive to promote fundamental knowledge for new advisors.
“Self-paced, TRIPKIT augments student learning with support and engagement tools including expert-led insights from insider sessions with industry experts, online guided curriculum, on-demand coaching, recurring quizzes and automated ‘just-in-time’ TRIPKIT Tracks communications based on individual progress and, ultimately, the industry-recognized TAP Test to evaluate career-readiness,” The Travel Institute said.
Now more than ever, training for new advisors is vital to the health of the industry, as evidenced in The Travel Institute’s 2023 Changing Face of Travel Agents survey, which found that 36% of travel agencies “lost experienced staff during the pandemic and 66% of advisors were making plans for retirement.”
The training program, meanwhile, has received accolades from the advisor community.
“TRIPKIT gives new advisors not only the practical knowledge to succeed but also the confidence to serve clients with integrity and care,” said Rainbow Getaways Travel Network Founder Scott Wismont.
“New advisors who complete TRIPKIT come to our travel trade better prepared and also reach success faster because they already have a solid understanding of the industry,” he added.
Destinations by Melanie Owner Melanie Kautzman, who capitalized on TRIPKIT’s resources to launch her agency, “highly recommended” the program, noting that it serves as a solid base to learn and grow from.”
Similarly, Jason Watson of Which Way Travel said os “a well-designed, organized and valuable tool,” which provided him with the solid foundation he needed to launch his travel career.
“Starting a career in travel is rewarding, but it can also be overwhelming,” Said Guida Botelho, CTIE, senior director of education for The Travel Institute.
“With so much to know in our complex, ever-evolving industry and with so many training options available, TRIPKIT remains the go-to, trusted source for industry newcomers wanting to become truly job ready,” she added.
