Uniworld Boutique River Cruises is launching four new ships and six new itineraries in 2027.
The company will have S.S. Audrey, S.S. Marlene and S.S. São Rafael sailing in Europe, plus voyages aboard the Aqua Blu as it debuts in Singapore and Indonesia.
“2027 is shaping up to be a landmark year for us at Uniworld as we introduce four remarkable new ships to our guests and a range of itineraries that blend cultural immersion, luxury and adventure,” says Ellen Bettridge, president and chief executive officer of Uniworld Boutique River Cruises. “From honoring the timeless elegance of Audrey Hepburn and Marlene Dietrich aboard our newest Super Ships, to exploring the rich landscapes of Singapore and Indonesia with the Aqua Blu, these additions mark an exciting chapter of growth and continued elevation.”
S.S. Audrey and S.S. Marlene will have a similar layout to sister ship S.S. Emilie, slated to debut in 2026. The interiors of S.S. Audrey and S.S. Marlene will be inspired by their glamorous namesakes, Audrey Hepburn and Marlene Dietrich.
S.S. São Rafael, a brother ship to the S.S. São Gabriel, will help Uniworld expand its offerings on Portugal’s Douro River. The name is a nod to the flagship used during Vasco da Gama’s first voyage to India in 1497.
The 15-suite Aqua Blu, meanwhile, is being operated in partnership with Aqua Expeditions. It will offer two sailings per year in Indonesia and Singapore.
In 2027, Uniworld will also launch six new itineraries across Europe and Asia. The “Bali, Singapore & Indonesia Expedition” is a 13-night trip that includes three nights in Bali with a seven-night voyage aboard Aqua Blue. “Paris, Prague & Germany’s Hidden Gems” is an 11-night voyage on the new S.S. Audrey that will blend stays in Paris and Prague with a cruise through the heart of Germany along the Rhine and Moselle rivers. The “Scenic Rhine, Paris & the Swiss Alps” voyage, also aboard the S.S. Audrey, combines luxurious hotel stays in Paris and Zurich with a Rhine and Moselle river sailing through France, Germany and Switzerland.
“European Gems” will be a one-day, 14-night departure aboard S.S. Emilie from Amsterdam to Vienna, sailing the Rhine, Main and Danube rivers in one seamless voyage, while “Grand Highlights of the Danube” is a new 16-night adventure that combines two guest-favorite itineraries: “Highlights of Eastern Europe” and “Enchanting Danube.”
“Castles Along the Rhine & Amsterdam” is an expansion of one of Uniworld’s most popular itineraries, “Castles Along the Rhine.” The nine-night journey includes a sailing from Basel, plus two nights in Amsterdam, complete with a guided canal cruise and a tour of the iconic Rijksmuseum.
