Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Parks Hospitality Holdings have opened the first Hyatt Place-branded hotel in Quintana Roo, Mexico this week.
The new property, the Hyatt Place Cancun Airport, is the sixth Hyatt Place-branded hotel in Mexico. The hotel features the brand’s 24/7 complimentary airport shuttle, on-site parking, easy access to business complexes and the Cancun Airport Maya Tren station.
Just fifteen minutes away is downtown Cancun, where many of the tourist offerings are located.
The Hyatt Place Cancun Airport also provides an outdoor swimming pool, a 24-hour fitness center, flexible workspaces and communal areas and 156 rooms and suites. Travelers will enjoy free breakfast each morning, along with a 24-hour market and The Placery, the hotel’s restaurant.

Two other hotels, the Hyatt Place Merida/Via Montejo and the Hyatt Place Piedras Negras, will open later this month and in early 2026.
Travelers who are members of the World of Hyatt program can earn 500 Bonus Points for stays at the airport between November 12, 2025 and February 28, 2026.
