The American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) has wrapped up yet another successful exclusive event aimed at preparing advisors for the next era of travel.
More than 250 U.S. travel professionals came together in Portland, Oregon, for ASTA’s 2025 Premium Business Summit last week.
The two-day event was hosted at The Nines, a Luxury Collection Hotel and featured dynamic and immersive programming and learning experiences as well as lengthy conversations around the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of the travel industry.
Attendees delved into a plethora of important topics, from AI to the current state of commissions, among others.
“The caliber of both the content and the people in the room was exceptional. Our industry’s most innovative leaders came together to share ideas, address challenges and build solutions that will define the next era of professional travel advising,” ASTA President and CEO Zane Kerby said in a statement.
“Attending the ASTA Premium Business Summit for the first time was a valuable experience,” Jamie Anderson, owner of Travel & Cruise Desk of Lake Oswego, Oregon, said in a statement. “As a third-generation agency owner, it gave me direct access to industry leaders, data-driven insights and honest conversations about the future of our profession. I came home with ideas that will immediately help my business and my advisors.”
Next year’s ASTA Premium Business Summit will be held in Denver, Colorado, in October 2026.
