AIC Hotel Group paid tribute to nearly 200 of its top-producing travel advisors during its annual Showstopper Awards event, which this year took place at the all-inclusive AVA Resort Cancun.
As always, the three-day event featured a packed agenda, including, among many other things, AIC’s signature awards gala and dinner, and an after-party with a performance by six-time Grammy Award nominee rapper and songwriter B.o.B.
“We are pleased not only with the significant turnout we had at this year’s event, but with the overall growth we are seeing in all-inclusive hotel sales,” said Ash Tembe, AIC Hotel Group’s vice president of North American sales.
“Looking ahead, as our network of travel partners continues to grow, we look forward to finding more exciting ways to celebrate their many achievements,” he added. “Next year’s Showstopper Awards will be the perfect place to do that.”
The 2026 Showstopper Awards event is scheduled to take place in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, with more details expected to be released soon.
Tembe acknowledged the support the Showstoppers event receives each year from its supplier partners, including Classic Vacations, Apple Leisure Group and Delta Vacations.
“Each year, the Showstopper Awards get better and better, and we couldn’t have done it without our sponsors,” he said.
To qualify for the Showstoppers event, travel advisors must exceed their sales status from the prior year. Recipients of the Black Diamond Award sell upward of 500 room nights across AIC Hotel Group’s all-inclusive properties in Mexico and the Caribbean.
AIC Hotel Group’s collection of properties includes Hard Rock Hotels, UNICO Hotel Collection, Nobu Hotels and AVA Resort.
