Norwegian Cruise Line plans to update two of its Jewel Class ships next year.
In the spring of 2026, Norwegian Jade and Norwegian Gem will enter dry dock for renovations. Norwegian Jade is scheduled for revitalization from April 19 to May 4, 2026, while Norwegian Gem will get a refresh from April 24 to May 11, 2026.
On both ships, crews will be adding the popular, adults-only outdoor Vibe Beach Club, which will replace the additional sundeck on deck 14. The space will offer an additional hot tub, as well as 54 premium lounge chairs and seven new private cabanas equipped for two guests to soak up the sun.
Vibe Beach Club will also have a full-service private bar and personalized services like water spritzers, chilled towels and fruit skewers. Travelers can now pre-book a cabana or access pass onboard Norwegian Gem and Norwegian Jade.
Norwegian Jade will also get a brand-new Starbucks on deck 7 designed by Studio DADO.
After dry dock, Norwegian Jade will sail seven-day Alaska cruises from Vancouver, Canada, and Whittier, Alaska, Norwegian Gem will sail a variety of Mediterranean and Greek Isles cruises from Venice and Rome, Italy.
