Holland America Line is enhancing its 2027 Alaska cruisetour season with a new inclusive dining package and an expanded Denali lodge for trips into Denali National Park.
The upgrades coincide with the cruise line’s 80th year exploring Alaska, a milestone season that will offer 19 itineraries paired with a three- to seven-day cruise aboard Koningsdam, Nieuw Amsterdam, Westerdam or Zaandam.
The Denali Lodge is currently undergoing a $70 million transformation that will be complete ahead of the 2027 season. It will feature an updated main lodge, a contemporary restaurant and new guestroom buildings.
A free dining package will also be offered to guests who book with the Early Booking Bonus. The package covers breakfast and dinner at Holland America’s properties in Denali, Skagway and Dawson City, and offers lunch aboard the McKinley Explorer railcars.
“Guests want an inclusive experience and the seamless convenience of cruising carried through their entire journey — this free meal plan delivers that all the way to Denali,” said Dan Rough, vice president of revenue management.
There are several options for guests interested in traveling to Alaska, including the Classic, Signature and Ultimate Alaska & Denali Cruisetours, which range from nine to 14 days. Each journey features a seven-day glacier cruise, stays at Denali lodge and destinations such as Glacier Bay and Skagway.
Along with strengthening its Alaska offerings, Holland America Line is also welcoming Zuiderdam back from a two-week dry dock in the Bahamas with new upgrades and fresh features.
The Crow’s Nest, a lounge aboard Zuiderdam, now features a bandstand designed for performances and events. The ship also added 11 ocean-view staterooms to decks one and seven, and laid down new carpeting for several public areas on the ship.
