As we say goodbye to 2025 and prepare to enter into the New Year, let’s take a look at some of the most highly anticipated new hotels and resorts expected to open in 2026.

North America
The Cooper, Charleston

Opening March 1, 2026, The Cooper will be the first waterfront hotel in Charleston, South Carolina. With 191 guest rooms and suites designed in an elegant Southern style, guests will enjoy a lovely stay in the heart of the waterfront area. The Cooper will boast its own personal marina, a 7,000-square-foot spa, four dining venues and over 20,000 square feet of event space.
Pendry Mexico City
Pendry Mexico City is opening next year as a member of Preferred’s L.V.X. Collection. Located in the cultural and art heart of the biggest city in North America, the Pendry Mexico City will offer 114 rooms and suites, along with 20 Pendry Residences. Guests of the hotel can enjoy Bar Pendry, an all-day cafe and several dining venues, including a rooftop restaurant and lounge concept. The hotel will include wellness offerings like a rooftop pool and sundeck, spa and fitness center.
Tempo by Hilton Savannah Historic District
Opening sometime in the first quarter of 2026 is the Tempo by Hilton Savannah Historic District. Just steps away from River Street and Forsyth Park, the hotel will offer a relaxing stay in the heart of the historic city, with a rooftop bar, two restaurants, fitness center, meeting rooms and a pet-friendly policy.
The Monarch San Antonio, Curio Collection by Hilton
The Monarch San Antonio is expected to open as a Curio Collection by Hilton property sometime during the first quarter of the year. The elegantly designed skyscraper hotel will boast over 15,000 square feet of event space, 200 rooms and a rooftop restaurant, coffee shop and speakeasy. The hotel will feature a decidedly neutral color palette adorned with gorgeous live plants throughout.
The Elene, Napa Valley

Opening in the late summer of next year is The Elene, located along the Napa Valley Vine Trail in California. The boutique property will offer 46 vineyard view guest rooms and four luxury suites, all with private entrances, large bathrooms and panoramic views.
Vineyards surround the five-acre property, which will offer a full-service restaurant, cafe, heated pool, spa and sauna garden, bike barn and other outdoor amenities. It’s designed to be a community gathering space for those biking the Vine Trail and is part of the Mosaic Hotel Collection.
Kimpton Ashbel New York-Park Avenue
The Kimpton Ashbel New York-Park Avenue will open January 2026 in Midtown Manhattan. Located in a Beaux-Arts style building dating to 1928, the hotel is located just steps away from Grand Central Terminal and other amazing attractions. It will offer 205 rooms and suites, including family-style connecting rooms, a large living room with a library and curated art program, a cafe concept, bar cart and more.
Fairmont New Orleans
Expected to open this summer, the Fairmont New Orleans will be located in the redevelopment of the Bank of New Orleans building within the business district, near to the French Quarter. The hotel will offer a luxury stay in the city, with 250 rooms and suites, three dining and drinking venues, a rooftop pool, 10,000-square-foot spa and 20,000 square feet of event spaces.
Denū Hotel & Spa, Phoenix
Opening September, 2026 is an elevated urban oasis location in the heart of downtown Phoenix, Arizona: Denū Hotel & Spa. Part of the Meritage Collection, the 236-room hotel is located near the city’s transportation infrastructure and cultural offerings, offering a wellness concept with Hammam-inspired spa, meeting and event facilities, rooftop social area and thoughtful design.
Forest Springs Hotel & Spa, Eureka Springs
Forest Springs Hotel & Spa opens next summer as a tucked-away wellness gem in the Ozark Mountains, located near Eureka Springs. The forested retreat offers wellness travel experiences like the Six Senses Wellness & Spa, with Nordic saunas, cold plunges and halotherapy, along with tea ceremonies, tea lounges, warm fires and more. Daily yoga with breathwork is a habit-forming practice at the hotel. The hotel is pet-friendly and offers themed room concepts based on the elements.
The Stelle, Park City

Opening next winter as part of Preferred’s L.V.X. Collection is The Stelle, in Park City, Utah. Located within the SkyRidge Mountain Resort, the property will offer 67 units with mountain or lake views, along with three dining venues and access to SkyRidge’s equestrian center, golfing, lake access, skiing, hiking trails and more. The lodge will also offer a spa with private outdoor saunas and a spa terrace.
Central and South America
JW Marriott All-Inclusive Costa Elena, Costa Rica
Marriott International will bring the 415-room JW Marriott All-Inclusive Costa Elena resort to Guanacaste, Costa Rica, located on the Pacific Coast. The resort will offer 17 pools, 11 dining outlets, a large spa and fitness center and spaces for indoor meetings. It’ll also offer an expansive beach area stretching 885 feet.
Africa and the Middle East
Club Med South Africa Beach & Safari Resort
Club Med’s major new expansion in South Africa is set to open next year. The Club Med South Africa Beach & Safari Resort is located on the Indian Ocean coast in Kwazulu-Natal, offering beachside resort experiences combined with the location’s unique safari offerings. The resort provides access to the Mpilo Safari Lodge, where guests can stay to spot the Big Five for themselves.
The resort will offer 411 rooms and suites, crafted from locally sourced materials, as well as four pools, Club Med’s first-ever surf school, multiple dining areas, a wellness center and more.
Ubuyu, A Banyan Tree Escape, Tanzania
Ubuyu, A Banyan Tree Escape, will open as Banyan Group’s first safari resort. Located along the Great Ruaha River in Ruaha National Park, Tanzania, guests will get a close-up experience of African wildlife, with an open-borders concept that allows for wildlife to live in concert with the resort.
The national park is home to one of Africa’s largest elephant populations, along with several keystone species, like the African wild dog and lions. Guests enjoy the best of luxury along with the wildlife, with every villa boasting its own private plunge pool. The safari retreat opens in May, 2026.
Miraval The Red Sea, Saudi Arabia

Located on Shura Island as part of Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea Global tourism projects, Miraval The Red Sea will open next year as Miraval Resorts & Spas’ first-ever international property. The wellness resort will offer exclusive wellbeing and spa experiences, like Bedouin Storytelling, Wind Surfing, Regenerative gardening and more. The 40,000-square-foot Life in Balance spa will include Hammam Journeys.
Miraval The Red Sea will offer three million square feet of beaches with 180 rooms and suites, including villas and additional private residences, four different dining venues and more.
Singita Elela, Okavango Delta
Singita Elela will open in December 2026 as the Okavango Delta’s newest safari lodge, designed to support Singita’s stewardship of the African wilderness. The lodge is located within a pristine 400,000-acre concession, and offers eight circular camps built on stilts, ranging from one to four bedrooms and offering unobstructed views of the waterways and landscapes of the Delta. Each camp has its own dedicated team, including a guide.
Regent Jeddah Corniche, Saudi Arabia
Regent Jeddah Corniche will open in winter of 2026, bringing the Regent brand to Saudi Arabia’s western coastline. It’ll offer 182 rooms and five penthouses with views of the Red Sea, and will feature the world’s first Regent Spa.
Kitirua Plains Lodge, an A&K Sanctuary, Kenya
Opening in June, 2026 is the Kitirua Plains Lodge, an A&K Sanctuary. Located in Kenya near Amboseli National Park, the all-suite lodge offers a luxury stay with a view of Mount Kilimanjaro. Guests will be able to spend time watching wildlife from the lodge itself, including elephants.
Anantara Kafue River Zambia Tented Camp
Opening in the middle of 2026 is Anantara’s first tented camp, located in Kafue National Park, Zambia, home to hundreds of bird species. The camp is built above the water on timber platforms to minimize the impact on the natural environment. The camp will offer ten villas and three suites, while programming includes game drives, river safaris and wellness experiences.
Palais Jamaï Fès, Morocco

Opening as part of Preferred Hotels & Resorts’ Legend Collection next spring, the Palais Jamaï Fès brings history to life for guests. Located in a historic 19th-century mansion in the heart of Fes that was once the residence of the Grand Vixie during the Alaoui dynasty, the property will offer 94 rooms and suites, three restaurants, several drinking venues, including a sky bar, wellness facilities complete with a hammam, two pools and more.
Europe
Baccarat Hotel Rome
Opening late 2026, Baccarat Hotel Rome will offer 87 rooms in Baccarat’s signature style, with touches of the crystal brand everywhere you look. The hotel will also offer social and dining experiences, great service and a glamorous stay in Rome.
Zannier Bendor, France
Zannier Bendor will open on May 1, 2026 on the private Île de Bendor near Bandol, France. The 17-acre island features the lovely villa with 93 rooms, a beach club, dive center and large wellness center, including yoga, meditation and hammam experiences. Eight dining and social spaces will adorn the property.
Orient Express Palazzo Donà Giovannelli, Venice

Orient Express as an ultra-luxury brand has been on quite the growth trajectory: and in April, 2026, the brand will be welcoming guests to the Orient Express Palazzo Donà Giovannelli in Venice. Located within a 15th-century Venetian palace, once home to the Duke of Urbino and the Donà and Giovannelli families, the historic property will offer 47 rooms, suites and salons in an iconic style, plus three dining and drinking venues.
Conrad Corfu
Opening in the middle of next year is the Conrad Corfu, as Hilton’s first luxury resort in Greece. The property will offer 136 rooms, suites and villas, many with their own private pools or jacuzzis. The beach resort offers gardens, wellness experience, open-air cinema evenings and a kids club and daily kids programming. There will be three restaurants and two bars on-property.
Palacio Bellas Artes San Sebastian, Curio Collection by Hilton
The Palacio Bellas Artes San Sebastian, a Curio Collection by Hilton hotel, will debut in the middle of 2026 in the food-lover’s haven of San Sebastian, Spain. Located in a 1914 Beaux-Arts cinema, the glamorous hotel will earn its title as a palacio with glamor. The hotel will offer 81 rooms and suites, a restaurant and lobby bar.
Six Senses London

Opening early 2026 is the Six Senses London, the first hotel in the brand to open within the United Kingdom. The hotel will be located within The Whiteley in Bayswater, a landmark property with 109 rooms and suites, 14 private residences, a dining venue and a bar. The hotel’s spa will make history with the first magnesium pool within a hotel.
The Dean Berlin, Munich
The Dean Berlin is the brand’s first hotel outside of Ireland. Opening February, 2026, the hotel will offer 81 rooms in the brand’s character-driven style, inspired by Berlin itself. Located in Charlottenburg, the hotel will offer a bakery, restaurant and bar that will serve as a gathering space for both guests and neighbors alike.
Black Sand Hotel, Iceland
The first and only beachfront boutique hotel in Iceland is set to open this January. Black Sand Hotel, located on a peninsula in the Ölfus region, will offer a scenic retreat in the wilderness, with only 70 guestrooms and nine suites. It will be the first DUX hotel in Iceland, and will feature a seasonally inspired restaurant and bar, a spa, event spaces and more.
Romègas Hotel, Malta
Opening in the first quarter of 2026 as part of Preferred’s L.V.X. Collection is Romègas Hotel. Located in a 500-year-old palazzo built for the Knight of Malta, Mathurin Romègas, in Valletta, the historic property will immerse travelers deep in the heart of Valletta’s history. The property will offer just 23 rooms and suites with traditional Maltese balconies, a rooftop pool and a destination restaurant and bar.
Arcora Boutique Hotel & Villas, Finland

Arcora Boutique Hotel & Villas will open in December 2026 in Finland’s northern region of Lapland. Located near the Pallas–Yllästunturi National Park, the hotel will offer wellbeing experiences combined with opportunities for guests to experience the amazing nature all around the hotel. Villas offer amazing views from which to watch the Northern Lights, and experiences include snowmobiling, snowshoeing and reindeer safaris.
Asia and Asia-Pacific
The Den Bengaluru, LXR Hotels & Resorts, India
Hilton’s first LXR Hotels & Resorts collection property in India, The Den Bengaluru will open next year in Bengaluru, offering a luxurious stay for business and leisure travelers alike. It’ll be a great base camp for event and conference attendees, with a rooftop restaurant, large event spaces and upscale accommodations.
Conrad Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Opening in the third quarter of 2026 is the Conrad Kuala Lumpur. The 481-room luxury hotel will be located in the city’s Golden Triangle District, spanning fifty floors with five dining venues, two floors of event spaces, a spa, fitness center and pool, all with a sleek, modern design.
Treehouse Hotel Adelaide, Australia
Opening late next year is Treehouse Hotel Adelaide, bringing the brand’s whimsical nature to the coastal city scene. The 248-room hotel will offer a sustainable stay with spaces for both guests and locals to socialize, dine and enjoy themselves.
NoMad Singapore
Opening sometime next year is the first NoMad hotel in the Asia Pacific region: NoMad Singapore. The 173-room hotel will be located on Orchard Road, steps away from Singapore’s shopping, dining and entertainment. The hotel will offer different dining venues and cultural programming for guests.
OUTRIGGER Phi Phi Island Resort, Thailand
Opening February 15, 2026 is the new OUTRIGGER Phi Phi Island Resort in Thailand. A complete renovation of a previous resort, the new OUTRIGGER property will encapsulate the brand’s ethos, offering a 5-star luxury property inspired by the Thai concept of “Nit Thra”, or the soul of rest. It’ll offer 63 eco-conscious villas within a biodiverse national park.
InterContinental Pokhara Begnas Lake, Nepal

Opening early next year, the InterContinental Pokhara Begnas Lake will be the brand’s debut in Nepal. Perched above Begnas Lake, the resort will offer sweeping Himalayan views and offer 80 rooms, several dining venues and children’s programming.
KAI Kusatsu – Kusatsu Onsen, Japan
KAI Kusatsu will open in spring of 2026 in Gunma Prefecture, Japan as part of Hoshino Resorts. Overlooking Mt. Kusatsu-Shirane, the inn-style hotel property will offer a dedicated bathhouse, gardens, a private tunnel leading to Kusatsu Onsen town and more.
Andaz Gold Coast, Australia
Opening in the middle of next year is Andaz Gold Coast, the first of Hyatt’s lifestyle brand to open in Australia. Located within the beautiful The Star Gold Coast integrated resort complex, the property will offer 202 rooms, a beach club, three dining and drinking venues and more.
Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit
Opening early next year with the first Fairmont hotel in Thailand: Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit. The property will offer 419 rooms and be the first fully integrated luxury MICE hotel in Thailand, with flexible and spacious event spaces and meeting facilities. The hotel will offer luxury rooms, several different restaurants and bars, including a rooftop bar, as well as a spa and wellness center.
