MSC Magnifica is back on the water after a major refurbishment.
After spending the past two months in dry dock at Palumbo Malta Shipyard in Malta, the refreshed MSC Cruises vessel has begun winter sailings in the Mediterranean.
In January, the ship will depart on a 132-day world cruise.
Next summer, the vessel will sail from Warnemünde, Germany, through Northern Europe before returning to the Mediterranean later in the year. The vessel will also offer world cruises in 2027 and 2028.
The ship now features an MSC Yacht Club, the brand’s “ship-within-a-ship” concept, though it won’t be available until summer of 2026. MSC Magnifica, which has been sailing since 2010, also has two new restaurants, Butcher’s Cut and Kaito Sushi Bar, along with a redesigned MSC Aurea Spa and Technogym Fitness Centre featuring a Gentleman’s Barber, new workout studios, and an expanded outdoor Aurea area.
Up next, sister ship MSC Poesia, will undergo similar enhancements in February before debuting in Alaska in May 2026.
