American Cruise Lines’ new riverboat, American Encore, is on track to debut in May on the Columbia and Snake Rivers.
The five-deck vessel is spacious, with private balcony accommodations for up to 180 guests, a four-story glass atrium, a grand dining room and casual cafe, multiple indoor and outdoor lounges, a walking track, a gym, a free laundry room and more.
American Encore is also offering a new stateroom category, the Signature Suite, featuring more than 1,000 square feet of space.
The new suites include wrap-around balconies, separate living and sleeping spaces, and a hotel-sized bathroom with a soaking tub and heated floors.
“This boat was not designed in a vacuum,” says Charles B. Robertson, president and chief executive officer of American Cruise Lines. “We compare ourselves to others around the world and ask, ‘How can we beat that?’ I think that we have objectively accomplished this mission with American Encore.”
After American Encore’s launch, sister ships American Anthem and American Grace are slated to debut on the Columbia and Snake Rivers in 2027 and 2028.
