Carnival
Cruise Line has announced the addition of U.S. West Coast sailings for the
2027/2028 season on Carnival Radiance from Long Beach.
The new three-day sailings will call on Ensenada, Mexico,
while four-day cruises feature visits to both Ensenada and Catalina Island.
The
Radiance will also offer a four-day sailing with back-to-back visits to
Ensenada on January 8, 2028, along with a five-day Christmas cruise on December
23, 2027, with port visits to Cabo San Lucas and Ensenada.
“We value our long-standing partnerships in Catalina Island
and Ensenada, and appreciate the continued collaboration with these
communities,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line in a
statement. “We look forward to continuing to bring our guests to these
treasured ports
of call.”
Carnival Cruise Line finalized a 15-year agreement with the
city of Avalon on Catalina Island reflecting its commitment to sustainable
tourism and continued collaboration with the island community.
In addition, Carnival Corporation recently announced a new
shoreside destination, Ensenada Bay Village, inspired by the culture and
natural beauty of Baja California currently under development in Ensenada with
a projected opening in 2028.
With an investment of more than $26 million, the destination
aims to enhance the port experience with a mix of adventure, cultural and
relaxation offerings and will welcome guests from multiple cruise lines,
reinforcing a shared commitment to inclusive tourism and regional growth.
