While readers of a certain age will probably always associate Pamela Anderson with the hit television show Baywatch, these days the stunning star has been busy embracing a far different image and way of life.
Anderson has set her sights on a quieter, more grounded and centered presence, one focused on authenticity and connection. Think of it as a reset, if you will.
And here’s the good news: Anderson, along with Destination Canada, want others to experience their own reset too.
To that end, Anderson and Destination Canada have just inked a new partnership dubbed “Resolution Reset,” which is meant to offer travelers a fresh take on New Year’s resolutions, one that trades all those reinvention resolutions we make on New Year’s Eve for an opportunity to slow down and reconnect in 2026.
You see, Anderson specifically wants others to experience their “reset” in Canada, which in addition to being her home country, is also a place filled with stunning open spaces and landscapes that country leaders actively work to protect for generations to come. (Unlike the current leaders in another country nearby, but we digress.)
So, here’s how Anderson and Destination Canada are planning to help you relieve some stress:
On January 13, Destination Canada kicked off its Resolution Reset contest, which involves awarding five winners custom trips to the country, with each itinerary built around how you want to spend your time unplugging and reconnecting this year.
“Every year starts with good intentions. Move more. Scroll less. Build better habits. Drop old ones. But the pressure to keep up can quickly turn those goals into another source of stress. This year, try something simpler. Focus on what helps you slow down and feel more like yourself,” explains Destination Canada’s Resolution Reset webpage.
“With the help of Pamela Anderson, we’re hitting pause on the pressure and giving you the opportunity to reconnect to what matters most with a resolution reset.”
“In Canada, that feeling comes naturally,” adds the website. “Wide-open landscapes, fresh air and a gentler pace of life create space to breathe and reflect. Time outdoors feels easy, connection feels genuine, and the pressure to reinvent fades away.”
Or, as Anderson explains in her own Instagram post about the contest and the idea of resetting: “The most meaningful resolutions aren’t about changing yourself…they’re about coming home to who you already are.” Anderson goes on to point out that in her case, the feeling of being most herself has always been associated with living in Canada. “The quiet, the space, the way nature reminds you to breath again. And I want that feeling for you too.”
Let’s all say it together, shall we? THANK YOU PAMELA.
