Southwest Airlines Launches Birthday Sale With Flights From $39

Southwest Airlines is celebrating its 54th birthday this week with a sale on flights.

The discounted seats, which include fares from as low as $39 one-way, are available to book now through Thursday, June 19, at midnight PT.

Continental U.S. travel is valid between August 5 and December 17, 2025. while international travel, travel to San Juan, Puerto Rico and continental U.S. travel to and from Hawaii is valid August 17 through December 10, 2025.

Meanwhile, inter-island Hawaii travel is valid July 8 through October 1, 2025.

Typically, travelers can find the best deals on flights between the low-cost carrier’s operating bases, which include cities like Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago (Midway), Dallas (Love Field), Denver, Houston (Hobby), Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Nashville, Oakland, Orlando, Phoenix and Tampa.

The sale comes on the heels of news that Southwest will increase frequencies and introduce new routes for the upcoming football season, as well as meet demand for marquee fall events.
