Hospitality group Accor is launching a new travel advisor challenge rewarding 33 of the top advisors to stay at two new properties in Colombia, called the HERA Challenge.
Named for Accor’s HERA travel advisor loyalty and rewards program, which launched a year ago, the HERA Challenge provides eleven different categories, with the top three advisors from each category earning an invitation to an exclusive hosted trip in Cartagena on March 9-12, 2026.
The top three advisors in each category will earn an invite to the trip: Performance Champions, the top three HERA members by revenue; Regional Stars, the top three revenue earners by region; Brand Experts, the top three advisors for five different brand categories; and Destination Diversifiers, the top three advisors booking the most diverse range of destinations for their clients.
Bookings made between November 15, 2024 and November 15, 2025 will count towards the HERA Challenge, with winners announced in December.
“The HERA Challenge is our way of recognizing and rewarding the extraordinary advisors who bring our brands to life for guests around the world,” said Pascal Visintainer, Global Chief Sales Officer, Accor Luxury & Lifestyle.
“We believe that it is incredibly important for us to celebrate the expertise, commitment, and the human connections that are at the heart of truly memorable travel,” Visintainer continued. “With the introduction of HERA last year, we take great pride in our ability to provide travel advisors with the tools and opportunities to thrive in their profession – and now, a chance to be honored among the best of the best.”
The itinerary begins with a stay at the Sofitel Legend Santa Clara Cartagena, a convent-turned-hotel, before heading to the Sofitel Barú Calablanca Beach Resort, a LEED-certified beachside resort.
