AmaWaterways has expanded its executive team with two new senior vice presidents.
Angel Christopher Gomez, has been appointed senior vice president, global consumer sales and service, and Sezin Aksoy will serve as senior vice president, revenue management, insights and analytics.
Gomez formerly served as associate vice president at Celebrity Cruises, overseeing global sales and service operations, and led initiatives to fortify guest engagement and team development.
In his new position, Gomez will collaborate with “key departments to expand omnichannel capabilities and further elevate the guest and travel advisor experience,” AmaWaterways said.
Askoy, who began her career in revenue management and corporate sales at American Airlines, is charged with leading “efforts to strengthen analytical capabilities, optimize revenue strategies and support sustainable, strategic growth across the organization,” AmaWaterways said.
She formerly served as senior vice president of global strategy and analytics at AXS, a global ticketing platform, which is a division of AEG, a sports and live entertainment company.
At AmaWaterways, Askoy will “lead efforts to strengthen analytical capabilities, optimize revenue strategies and support sustainable, strategic growth across the organization,” AmaWaterways said.
