International fliers are getting an extra dose of luxury, thanks to American Airlines’ newest premium perk.
The Dallas-based carrier is launching new amenity kits in its premium long-haul cabins designed by sustainable leather brand Raven + Lily. Inside the new stylish leather crossbody bags and pouches, passengers will find upgraded items like skincare products from celebrity facialist Joanna Vargas. The new kits will also offer upgraded socks and eye masks.
The limited-edition kits will launch later in September in Flagship First, Flagship Business, and premium economy cabins on select international and transcontinental flights. Passengers in each of the three cabins will receive different styles of bags.
In Flagship First and Flagship Suite Preferred seats, fliers will find a navy blue crossbody bag with a removable strap designed to evoke Raven + Lily’s best-selling Yami Backpack. Passengers in Flagship Business and Flagship Suite seats will receive a powder blue and navy blue pouch with a removable wristlet strap, while premium economy customers will get a magnetic orange and navy pouch designed to double as a sunglasses case.
“Every product we create at Raven + Lily is made with purpose, blending beauty and function,” said Kinda Lincoln, CEO of Raven + Lily, which is based in Austin, Texas. “Designing these amenity kits for American Airlines allowed us to bring that same thoughtfulness to travelers around the world. These are pieces meant to be reused, loved and carried well beyond the flight.”
The amenity kits in first and business class will also come with oshiburi towels, and the premium economy pouches have a microfiber lens cloth.
“These amenity kits are more than just a travel essential — they’re an elevated part of the journey,” said Heather Garboden, American’s chief customer officer. “Our partnership with Raven + Lily allowed us to bring beautifully designed, purpose-driven bags on board that customers will enjoy in the air and on the ground.”
The leather kits are part of a larger effort by American to launch rotating, limited-edition amenity kits. In June 2025, the airline unveiled new kits by designer Brandon Blackwood that were available in long-haul premium cabins through early September 2025.
