Eternity C went down Wednesday morning after attacks on two previous days, sources at security companies involved in a rescue operation said. The six rescued seafarers spent more than 24…
For the past few years, Samsung has released two foldable phones at its Unpacked event. This year, however, the company has added a cheaper model to the lineup, the Z Flip7 FE, which sees the new Z Fold7 and the Z Flip7 taking up the foldable flag for the Korean hardware giant. Samsung has once again sought to make its phones thinner, though the new models are thinner than last year’s iterations. The company has also updated the pricing: The new Z Fold7 is $100 costlier than the Z Fold6, retailing at a starting price of $1,999. Samsung hasn’t increased…

Seoul, South Korea CNN — Former South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol is back in custody over an independent investigation into his declaration of martial law last year. According to the independent counsel leading the probe, the Seoul Central District Court approved a warrant for Yoon’s re-arrest early Thursday morning, because of concerns over the destruction of evidence. Yoon’s shocking December declaration plunged South Korea into a constitutional crisis and was widely condemned as striking at the heart of the nation’s democracy. He reversed course within six hours, after lawmakers forced their way into parliament and voted unanimously to block…
by Lacey Pfalz Last updated: 10:15 AM ET, Wed July 9, 2025 As the busy summer travel season heats up across the globe, new data from June released by the National Travel and Tourism Office show that the United States is still experiencing a decline in travel this year. Universities threatened with funding cuts under proposed plan to tackle antisemitism in Australia
Brisbane, Australia CNN — Australian universities may lose funding if they’re not judged to be doing enough to address anti-Jewish hate crimes, according to new measures proposed by the country’s first antisemitism envoy. Standing alongside Prime Minister Anthony Albanese Thursday, Segal released a report nine months in the making proposing strong measures, including the university funding threats and the screening…
