MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The Minneapolis school system will offer families the option of remote learning for a month amid federal immigration enforcement in the city, the district said.The district provided the update late Thursday in an email to teachers that was obtained by The Associated Press. Under the temporary plan, teachers will simultaneously deliver lessons from their classrooms to students in the classroom and at home. The terminal will be able to accommodate vessels with up to 7,000 passengers.  The complex also includes a multi-level parking facility integrated with a ground-level intermodal transportation hub. AI research lab Anthropic continues to land sizable enterprise deals. Its latest entails bringing its large language models to a legacy German insurance giant. Anthropic on Friday announced a deal with Munich, Germany-based global insurance conglomerate Allianz to bring “responsible AI” to the insurance industry. The parties declined to share financial terms of the deal. The partnership is made up of three specific initiatives. The first is making Claude Code, Anthropic’s AI-powered coding tool, available to all of Allianz’s employees. Andreessen Horowitz just announced the firm has just raised a little more than $15 billion in new funding. The haul represents over 18% of all venture capital dollars allocated in the United States in 2025, according to firm co-founder Ben Horowitz, but even more jaw-dropping is that it brings the organization to more than $90 billion in assets under management, putting it neck-and-neck with Sequoia Capital as among the largest venture firms in the world. A new retreat for travelers is coming to one of the busiest airports in the United States. Capital One has announced it will soon open a new Capital One Lounge at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT). The relaxing new space will be located on the mezzanine level of the airport’s new Concourse A expansion and measure about 14,000 square feet.Inside, travelers can expect “a warm, light-filled environment,” the credit card company says.
