NEW YORK (AP) — Prosecutors urged a New York federal judge Tuesday to send Sean “Diddy” Combs to prison for over 11 years following his conviction on prostitution-related charges, citing one of his accusers who said she lives in fear of the music mogul’s release from detention.“His crimes of conviction are serious and have warranted sentences over ten years in multiple cases for defendants who, like Sean Combs, engaged in violence and put others in fear,” they wrote in a presentence submission requesting at least 11 years and three months in prison.They filed their sentencing recommendation shortly after midnight, including…

The U.K. government has confirmed it will guarantee a commercial bank loan of £1.5 billion ($2 billion) for car-making giant Jaguar Land Rover after a hack forced the company to shut down its production lines and left downstream suppliers at risk of bankruptcy. Connecting passengers on board one of United Airlines’ longest international flights will now have a smoother layover process, thanks to the carrier’s latest initiative. United has teamed up with United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to launch a new program that ends the need for connecting fliers with checked bags to reclaim and recheck their luggage on certain international routes.
