WASHINGTON (AP) — The Trump administration is forging ahead with plans to eject some nonprofits from a popular student loan forgiveness program if their work is deemed to have a “substantial illegal purpose” — a move that could cut off some teachers, doctors and other public workers from federal loan cancellation.New rules finalized Thursday give the Education Department expanded power to ban organizations from the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program. Comcast topped Wall Street earnings and revenue estimates for the third quarter on Thursday, despite once again reporting a loss in broadband customers. The company said it lost 104,000 domestic broadband customers during the period, bringing its total subscriber base to roughly 31.4 million. This marked the fourth quarter in a row that Comcast failed to grow its broadband customer base. Earlier this year the company outlined initiatives meant to drive broadband growth — the cornerstone of Comcast’s business — as it has faced fraught competition from alternative providers, namely 5G companies. The company, soon to be led by co-CEOs Brian Roberts…
Typically, when a company acquires another, it will absorb the new company’s branding or integrate it with its own identity. Grammarly is doing something different: After acquiring email client Superhuman in July, the company is renaming itself “Superhuman.” Despite the branding change, Grammarly, the product, will continue to be known as it has. However, the company says it is thinking about rebranding products like Coda, a productivity platform it acquired last year, in the long run. The company is also launching an AI assistant called Superhuman Go that’s built into Grammarly’s existing extension. The assistant can provide writing suggestions, give…

Barely two weeks after Charlie Kirk’s death, members of a Michigan congregation made public that they too were forgiving a gunman, the one who had just attacked their church, killing…
