Google’s latest video-generation model, Veo 3, is coming to Google Photos. The new model, available on the mobile app’s Create tab, will allow users in the U.S. to turn their still images into video clips. Google Photos already offers video generation through its recently added “Photo to video” feature, but the company says the addition of Veo 3 enhances that functionality with higher-quality video. As Starbucks revamps its U.S. locations, the coffee chain is trying to make its cafes welcoming to all through more inclusive design.As part of its broader effort to bring back customers, the company has prioritized plans to give makeovers to roughly 1,000 locations by the end of 2026. It will sideline major store renovations and development in the meantime.While the changes will vary based on the location, expect more seating, dark wood paneling and other tweaks that make its cafes cozier. GE will also invest $300 million, pending regulatory approval, under a strategic deal announced Thursday. After recently being spotted testing a way to share longer text, Threads, Meta’s X competitor, is now officially rolling out the feature that allows users to attach up to 10,000 characters of text to their post. Waymo has been cleared to serve its first airport in California: San Jose Mineta International. The company announced Thursday that it will start testing its robotaxis there in the coming months, and that it plans to start offering commercial rides by the end of the year.
