President Donald Trump declared Friday that he will impose a 100% tariff on all imports from China, while also imposing export controls on “any and all critical software” from the United States. This is the latest move in what looks like an escalating trade conflict between the United States and China. High school homecoming celebrations in Mississippi ended in gunfire, with two separate shootings on opposite sides of the state Friday night that left at least six people dead and many more injured, authorities said.Four of the dead were killed in downtown Leland, after a high school football homecoming game in the Mississippi Delta region on the state’s western edge, a state senator said Saturday. Banana Ball, a quirky version of baseball that’s growing in popularity, is coming to Walt Disney World in 2026. The sport, which began in Savannah in 2020, has six teams; starting next year, the league will be called the Banana Ball Championship League. Disney World’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex will be hosting games on May 29 and 30, 2026. The Loco Beach Coconuts team will play the Party Animals at the complex.
