Rivian has filed a lawsuit in Ohio to be able to sell its electric vehicles directly to consumers in the state — the latest swing in a perpetual fight between up-and-coming American automakers and the entrenched and powerful dealership lobby. The company sued the registrar of Ohio’s Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) on Monday in federal court, claiming the state is harming consumers by blocking direct sales. Google’s AI-powered bug hunter has just reported its first batch of security vulnerabilities.  Heather Adkins, Google’s vice president of security, announced Monday that its LLM-based vulnerability researcher Big Sleep found and reported 20 flaws in various popular open source software.
