A regional jet flying through the Midwest had a close call on Friday, July 18, when a military plane reportedly entered its flight path without warning. The incident occurred on a Delta Connection flight operated by SkyWest Airlines out of Minneapolis. As the Embraer E175 aircraft began its landing approach at North Dakota’s Minot International Airport (MOT), the airline pilot had to make a sudden “aggressive maneuver” to avoid colliding with a B-52 military aircraft that suddenly appeared, according to ABC News. “All of a sudden we just jerk really hard,” Monica Green, a passenger on board the flight, told ABC…
Google announced Monday that it’s introducing a new feature that lets iOS users easily switch between work and personal Google accounts in Chrome. Previously, iOS users had to completely sign out of a Google account and then log in with another, and repeat this process every time they want to access a different account. “People often use their mobile device for both work and personal tasks, requiring them to sign in and out with different Google accounts,” the company wrote in a blog post. “To simplify this experience while tightening security, Chrome on iOS is now offering seamless account switching…

When Figma announced its initial hoped-for price range on Monday ($25-$28), it also revealed an unusual decision for its highly anticipated IPO. It will allow existing shareholders to sell more shares than the company plans to sell, by a high ratio. The company plans to offer about 12.5 million shares. Yet existing shareholders will be allowed to cash out of nearly 24.7 million shares, it said. In addition, should this IPO be as hot as everyone thinks it will be, existing shareholders will get the option to sell, collectively, up to 5.5 million more shares. Figma founder CEO Dylan Field…
WILLIAMSPORT, Ohio (AP) — Sweat covers Isaac Barnes’s face under his beekeeper’s veil as he hauls boxes of honeycomb from his hives to his truck. It’s a workout in what feels like a sauna as the late-morning June temperatures rise. Though Barnes was hot, his bees were even hotter. Their body temperatures can be up to 27 degrees Fahrenheit (about 15 Celsius) higher than the air around them. As global temperatures rise under climate change, scientists are trying to better understand the effects on managed and wild bees as they pollinate crops, gather nectar, make honey and reproduce. Isaac Barnes…

by Mark Chesnut Last updated: 12:00 PM ET, Sat July 19, 2025 Many travelers consider airports a necessary evil – nothing more than a building to traverse to get from point A to point B. However, some terminals make it worthwhile to spend extra time exploring, with an array of fascinating exhibits, art galleries, and even, in some cases, museums. In California, for example, San Francisco International Airport is a notable example. Its onsite SFO Museum operates 14 galleries around the airport and recently unveiled an exhibition of the work of glass artist Preston Singletary (on display through October 18, 2026).…
