Avoya Travel provided a rundown of its 2025 Million Dollar Showcase, an event that pays tribute to its top advisors, which was held for a second consecutive year at the Waldorf Astoria Orlando earlier this month.
“The Million Dollar Showcase is an opportunity to not only recognize the incredible performance of Avoya’s top advisors, but to deepen strategic alignment with key supplier partners,” said Avoya Travel Chief Sales Officer Phil Cappelli.
“It’s a celebration of everything that makes the Avoya Network exceptional: performance, professionalism, and partnership.”
The event drew 170 attendees, including 94 Avoya independent advisors, suppliers and the host agency’s leadership team.
“The Showcase opened with a White Night cocktail reception hosted by Azamara Cruises and concluded with the Mirrorball Masquerade, where Avoya honored top-producing independent agencies,” Avoya said.
“Awards recognized top achievements across cruise, tour, river and resort sales, along with other standout business performance categories.”
The first general session opened with an addresses from Vicki Freed, senior vice president of sales, trade support and services at Royal Caribbean International, who discussed advisor success and the importance of partnerships; with a second session featuring Chuck Goetschel, CEO of Rallio, a platform focused on social media management, who spoke about the role Artificial Intelligences plays in the lives of travel advisors.
“Participating in the Million Dollar Showcase was an incredible opportunity to connect with the ‘best of the best’ independent agencies in the Avoya Network,” said Kristen Steele, vice president, national and strategic accounts at Globus family of brands.
“The agenda was perfectly planned with a balance of general sessions and one-on-one meetings,” she added. “The event was a masterclass in strategic collaboration, fresh perspectives, and actionable takeaways for all.”
