Cyber Monday was the strongest book day in history for Azamara Cruises.
This year, new bookings increased approximately 5 percent over the brand’s previous record. More broadly, the multi-week Black Friday Sale also ranked among the line’s top five best booking periods.
“Cyber Monday blew past every expectation,” says Dondra Ritzenthaler, chief executive officer of Azamara Cruises. “To see travelers respond at this level, surpassing every projection, tells us that interest in small-ship cruising has never been stronger.”
Alaska led Azamara’s strong sales, along with Western Mediterranean itineraries and sailings across Australia, Indonesia and Southern Africa. Also popular were transatlantic crossings between Europe and the U.S.
Veranda staterooms were the top-performing cabin category throughout the promotional period.
Also this week, Azamara announced its 2028 world cruise aboard Azamara Onward. This 175-night itinerary visits 91 ports in 40 countries on six continents. The voyage will depart Miami on January 5, 2028, and will conclude on June 29, 2028, in Athens, Greece.
Guests who book the full 2028 world cruise will receive several premium inclusions valued at over $37,000 per stateroom, including onboard credits, unlimited basic Wi-Fi and access to exclusive events. Additional benefits include unlimited wash-and-fold laundry, complimentary medical consultation, and pre-cruise offerings such as airfare, a one-night hotel stay, transfers and luggage shipping reimbursement.
Azamara is also introducing a dedicated World Cruise Desk, featuring a specialized team to serve as a pre-cruise concierge for guests and travel partners.
