Carnival
Cruise Line has announced its 2027-2028 deployment plans which include
Carnival Firenze and Carnival Splendor’s new itineraries.
“This deployment brings together flexibility, variety and
distinctive cruise experiences for our guests from iconic cities around the
world,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line in a statement.
She added, “Carnival Firenze, arriving in New York for the
first time to replace Carnival Venezia, brings our Fun Italian Style to the
market in a fresh way. Combined with Carnival Splendor’s exciting sailings that
include visits to Singapore, these additions showcase how we continue to
grow our lineup in meaningful ways.”
In addition to recently announced sailings from Miami
through mid-May 2027, Carnival Firenze’s 2027/28 deployment schedule now
includes a special 11-day Carnival Journeys Southern Caribbean sailing
departing from Miami on May 16, 2027, before heading to its new homeport in New
York City. The one-time sailing features visits to Celebration Key, Grand
Bahama; Aruba; Curaçao; and St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.
Following its arrival in New York on May 27, 2027, Carnival
Firenze will offer an extensive lineup of cruises from Manhattan, including
four- and five-day cruises to either Bermuda or Canada, along with a special
five-day sailing on Aug. 19, 2027, visiting New England and Canada and calling
on Portland, Maine and Saint John, Canada.
The ‘Fun Italian Style’ ship also offers a range of longer
itineraries, including a seven-day cruise with three consecutive days in
Bermuda, and a variety of eight-day Eastern Caribbean cruises visiting
Celebration Key, Grand Turk and RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay.
During her 2027/28 season, Carnival Splendor will offer four
new itineraries that include a three-day featuring two sea days, a four-day to
Moreton Island, Australia, and two Carnival Journeys Southeast Asia sailings to
Singapore and back following her dry dock.
The first 15-day Carnival Journeys departs on July 31, 2027,
from Sydney with port stops in Moreton Island, Airlie Beach and Cairns,
Australia; Lembar Lombok, Indonesia and Benoa (Denpasar), Bali before ending
with a sea day crossing the Equator. The following 16-day return sailing to
Sydney offers the same itinerary, with the addition of a call on Darwin,
Australia.
