Carnival Cruise Line is unveiling new four- and five-day Bahamas itineraries aboard Carnival Mardi Gras from Port Canaveral in 2027-28.
Meanwhile, the cruise line will extend Carnival Celebration’s seven-day eastern and western Caribbean sailings from PortMiami from May 2027 through April 2028.
Following three weeklong itineraries out of Port Canaveral on May 1, May 8 and May 15, 2007, Mardi Gras will be deployed on the new four- and five-day Bahamas cruises on May 22, 2027, in tandem with the debut of Carnival Festivale.
The three ships are part of the line’s Excel class of vessels. A fourth Excel ship, Carnival Tropicale, is scheduled to inaugurate service in 2028.
Mardi Gras’ four-day sailings will call at Carnival’s private islands, Celebration Key and RelaxAway.
Celebration’s extended series of eastern and western Caribbean will call at Celebration Key, Amber Cove, Grand Turk, St. Thomas, St. Maarten, San Juan, RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay, and Nassau.
“With a new Excel class ship on its way to Port Canaveral in 2027, we’re excited to offer more ways to experience these fabulous ships our guests love, with new shorter itineraries on Mardi Gras for the first time,” said Carnival Cruise Line President Christine Duffy.
