Disney World in Florida is gearing up for a Fourth of July celebration that
includes fireworks, foodies, festive treats, history and other family
activities.
Here are four ways the Most
Magical Place on Earth is providing sparkling experiences for guests.
Star-Spangled Spectaculars
“Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky”
returns to Magic Kingdom Park on July 3 and 4 at 9:20 p.m. Set to patriotic
music, the 360-degree fireworks show will light the skies over Cinderella
Castle in red, white, and blue.
At EPCOT, Spaceship Earth will be illuminated nightly in
bright red, white and blue colors. The nighttime spectacular, “Luminous the
Symphony of Us,” is followed by a July 4-only edition of “Heartbeat of
Freedom”—an explosive grand finale blending pyrotechnics with tributes to
America’s past, present, and future.
Festive Foods
Brand-new treats across the Walt Disney World resorts
include a Patriotic Cake Bar at Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs, a
Caramel-Apple Pie Funnel Cake at Epic Eats in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and the
Berry Shortcake at Columbia Harbor House in Magic Kingdom.
Honoring America’s Story
America is celebrated year-round at Walt Disney World with
popular attractions paying homage to the country’s history to include:
Main Street U.S.A., a nostalgic Victorian
glimpse of a classic American town from the turn of the 20th
century. Influenced by Walt Disney’s boyhood home in Marceline, Missouri, Main
Street features horse-drawn carriages, the renowned Dapper Dans barbershop
quartet and Main Street Philharmonic performances.Daily Flag Retreat Ceremony nightly honors
the American flag as a celebratory tribute to U.S. Veterans. Since the Magic
Kingdom opened in 1971, military veterans have participated in the ceremony.The American Adventure at EPCOT’s World
Showcase features patriotic melodies performed a cappella by the Voices of Liberty.
A captivating film production includes animatronic figures showcasing pivotal
moments and events throughout our history. The American Heritage gallery’s “Creating
Tradition: Innovation and Change in American Art,” represents a diverse
collection of traditional and contemporary art from 40 different American
Indian tribes.Portraits of Courage: A Commander in Chief’s
Tribute to America’s Warriors is a special exhibit from the George W. Bush
Presidential Center, extended through 2026 at The American Adventure.
Reflecting the President’s personal commitment to military veterans and the
ongoing work of the Bush Institute’s Veteran and Military Families Program, the
display includes more than 60 vibrant oil paintings by President Bush of
service members and veterans who served in military uniform with honor since
9/11 and whom the President has come to know personally since leaving office.
Disney Resorts Collection Hotels
Select Disney Resorts Collection hotels embrace the spirit
of summer fun for the Fourth of July and all season long with surprise
character appearances, campfires, sing-alongs, marshmallow roasts, Movies Under
the Stars, and children’s activities.
Guests staying along the shores of Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay
Lake can view the Electrical Water Pageant, a nighttime dazzling display of
illuminated sea creatures with a patriotic grand and glowing finale.
