Celebrity Cruises will open bookings for its inaugural river cruise season on September 25, giving travelers a chance to book the remaining staterooms.
The public bookings follow Celebrity’s priority booking access, which sold out in six minutes earlier this month.
“The response to the innovative design and unmatched experience Celebrity Compass and Celebrity Seeker will deliver has been overwhelmingly positive,” says Laura Hodges Bethge, president of Celebrity Cruises. “Guests are going to love sailing Europe’s Rhine and Danube rivers The Celebrity Way on our fleet of elevated, cutting-edge ships.”
Travelers can choose between 33 seven-night sailings on the Rhine and Danube in 2027. Earlier this month, Celebrity revealed the names of its first two river ships and the first details about their innovative design.
The vessels will have innovative hulls and a lightweight design to help improve river navigation. They’ll also be equipped with top-notch hybrid propulsion systems, waste management systems and advanced technologies to reduce noise and vibration.
The ships will have open decks to provide guests with plenty of outdoor space throughout the journey. They’ll also have an innovative dining venue called the Magic Edge, featuring cantilever dining pods that float above the river. On the top deck, guests will be able to enjoy a bar and grille. Each vessel will also have an infinity-edge plunge pool and transformative shade structures for year-round comfort.
Inside, travelers will find elegant cabins with king-sized beds and spacious balconies, split into five stateroom categories: Infinite Veranda, Skylight Infinite Balcony Suites, Vista Balcony Suites, Balcony staterooms and River View staterooms. Each room will have a free stocked mini bar and destination-inspired amenities, as well as luxury linens, bedding, bathrobes and slippers.
Guests who reserve a suite can enjoy a dedicated, on-demand butler through “Butler Chat,” free exclusive dining, room service and happy hour experiences, free laundry once each sailing, and priority booking for shore excursions.
The vessels will each have eight restaurants and bars, including fan favorites Martini Bar, Sunset Bar and Café Al Bacio. Guests can also enjoy free breakfast room service and flexible, all day dining access.
