Delta Air Lines will inaugurate daily, nonstop service from New York’s JFK Airport to Porto, Portugal, on May 21, 2026.
The new route adds to six other European routes scheduled to debut next summer.
“Delta’s new nonstop service from JFK to Porto is part of seven new European routes launching next summer, giving customers even more opportunities to experience Europe and enjoy our award-winning service and premium onboard experience,” said Paul Baldoni, Delta’s senior vice president of network planning.
“Whether discovering Portugal or traveling to our other new destinations such as Sardinia and Malta, these additions expand choice for our customers and reinforce JFK’s role as a leading global gateway,” he added.
Other new routes for summer 2026 include nonstop flights to Sardinia, Italy, and Malta out of JFK; nonstop flights from Boston to Madrid and Nice, France, and “enhanced flights to Barcelona and Milan, and fresh direct routes from Seattle to Barcelona and Rome,” Delta said.
