In a move that celebrates the profound impact of educators nationwide, the Disney Imagination Campus has announced the 2026 Teachers Sweepstakes in partnership with ABC’s hit comedy, “Abbott Elementary”.
The announcement, which coincided with the season five premiere of the award-winning show, is set to send 15 deserving teachers on a four-day, three-night, imagination-powered learning experience to Walt Disney World Resort in Florida in early May 2026.
The sweepstakes is designed to recognize the dedication of teachers who consistently go above and beyond to inspire their students. This one-of-a-kind professional development opportunity provides teachers the chance to learn through exclusive Disney Imagination Campus workshops, renowned for blending real-world application with Disney storytelling and creativity. These sessions are crafted to empower educators with fresh tools and inspiration to bring back to their own classrooms.
The collaboration with “Abbott Elementary”—a series beloved for its honest and humorous portrayal of passionate public school teachers—underscores a shared commitment to highlighting the crucial work of the education community. By teaming up, Disney Imagination Campus and ABC are ensuring to highlight the accolades of finalists on a grand scale. The experience will include meaningful networking opportunities, allowing the 15 winners to connect with peers from across the country and build a lasting support system.
In addition to the professional workshops, the honored educators will be treated to surprise magical moments as only Disney can deliver. Teachers will get time to visit the Walt Disney World theme parks in early May 2026: Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Allowing winners a well-deserved vacation for all of their hard work.
Teachers interested in entering the 2026 Teachers Sweepstakes must be legal residents of the 50 U.S., D.C., and Puerto Rico, and 21 years of age or older.
