Disneyland Resort is gearing up to continue its 70th anniversary celebration of making family moments magical next year with new experiences, celebratory events and more—including an exciting new event inspired by “Bluey!”
The Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration will end on August 9, 2026, so everyone heading to Disneyland before then will be able to participate in some way, from watching the “Paint the Night” parade to experiencing some exciting new additions.
Beginning March 22, Disneyland Park guests will be able to enjoy their favorite animated dogs with “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” a musical and game event held at Fantasyland Theatre, complete with games like Keepy Uppy and more.
Next year is shaping up to be a big one for festivals and events.

From January 23 through February 22, Disney California Adventure Park will host the Lunar New Year celebrations as the Year of the Horse begins. Minnie Mouse and Mickey Mouse will honor Korean culture while dressing in Korean-inspired outfits, while several other Disney characters will honor Vietnamese and Chinese culture with their own appearances—and fans of “Turning Red” might enjoy spotting a character from the movie!
Later in February, from February 20-21 and February 27-28, Christian music fans can enjoy a new annual concert called Celebrate Gospel at the Downtown Disney District. Headliners include Hezekiah Walker and Yolanda Adams.
Anaheim Ducks fans will also enjoy the return of Anaheim Ducks Day on February 22, an annual event at Disney California Adventure Park that includes appearances by Anaheim Ducks players and several hockey-themed activities.
Foodies and wine lovers will enjoy the return of the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival from March 6 through April 27, with plenty of limited-time food offerings and experiences for the whole family to love.
To celebrate Juneteenth, the Downtown Disney District is hosting its second annual Disney On the Yard – Yardfest: Powered by Celebrate Soulfully. Guests visiting the area on June 19th will enjoy a celebration of the traditions of historically Black colleges and universities, along with a rousing drumline.
August 12 is the big D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event celebration day, offering unique experiences across the park and some exciting announcements about its future.
From August 13-16, little ones will enjoy the return of Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Party at Downtown Disney District.
August 21 through October 31 is when guests will enjoy the spooky and festively fall decorations and experiences of Halloween Time and the Plaza de la Familia at Disney California Adventure Park, which ends on November 2.
The Holidays at Disneyland Resort celebration, which also includes the Disney Festival of Holidays, will begin on November 18, 2026.
There will also be several exciting experiences that will be ticketed separately from traditional park tickets, including Sweethearts’ Nite during select dates in January and February; Disney Channel Nite, during select dates in April; Star Wars Nite during April and May; Pride Nite in June; and the Oogie Boogie Bash, spanning select dates from August to October.
