Sports fans around the world have their favorite teams,
but traveling around the United States to witness sports history in person is a
once-in-a-lifetime experience.
In November, several marquee events should have sports
fans hitting the road, including the Formula 1 race in Las Vegas, the
Philadelphia Marathon, the NWSL Championship, and two major wrestling shows
from WWE and AEW.
Here are the biggest sports travel events of November.
Formula 1 Heineken Las Vegas Grand Prix 2025
The Formula 1 Heineken Las Vegas Grand Prix 2025 is
scheduled to take place on the Las Vegas Strip Circuit from Thursday, November
20 to Saturday, November 22, with the main race on Saturday.
For race fans, seeing Formula 1 live is an experience
unlike anything else, but watching some of the world’s fastest racers tackle a
course that runs through the streets of a popular travel destination like Las
Vegas makes it a unique event.
It wouldn’t be the #LasVegasGP without a little extra flair. ✨
On November 22, world-class artists take over the grid for an unforgettable night of music and speed — featuring @Louis_Tomlinson, @kanebrown, @steveaoki, Dj Pee .Wee, @VAVOmusic and @kaskade.

Single-day and multi-day tickets are still available,
as are ample flight and hotel options in a city designed to host massive global
audiences. Beyond the Formula 1 race, Las Vegas offers world-class dining,
shows, casinos, and nightlife, making it an ideal sports travel destination.
WWE Survivor Series and AEW Full Gear
Even for the most casual fans, seeing a wrestling show
live is an unforgettable experience, as these larger-than-life characters give
those in attendance their blood, sweat, and tears with every physically
challenging move.
For WWE, Survivor Series: WarGames will take
place at Petco Park in San Diego, California, on November 29. As winter kicks
in, the warm weather of San Diego would be a welcome change, giving fans the
chance to explore the city’s incredible food scene and popular attractions
before heading to the stadium.

On the other hand, AEW’s Full Gear pay-per-view will
emanate from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, on November 22, just
outside New York City. Before joining the droves of fans also attending the
show, travelers can take a guided tour of NYC’s most popular attractions and
grab a bite to eat at any one of the city’s highly rated restaurants and bars.
Philadelphia Marathon
Taking place November 21-23, the Philadelphia Marathon
is a series of races and events culminating in the 26.2-mile main event. In
addition to the full marathon, travelers can either witness or participate in
the 13.1-mile half marathon and the Rothman Orthopedics 8K, both of which weave
through the streets of historic Philadelphia.

In addition to a litany of hotels near—and even
along—the marathon course, travelers heading to the city will be treated to
one-of-a-kind food offerings, in addition to the inevitable cheesesteak. Add in
the fall foliage in and around Greater Philadelphia, and travelers should
embrace the chance to blend sports and culture.
NWSL Championship 2025
For soccer fans, the 2025 National Women’s Soccer
League (NWSL) Championship is taking place on Saturday, November 22, at PayPal
Park in San Jose, California. The colder fall weather sweeping the U.S. makes a
November trip to California a welcome change, but seeing the championship game
makes it even more worth the investment.

In addition to the unique local culture, food, and
coastal scenery that San Jose offers, NWSL fans are passionate, inclusive, and
family-friendly, making any gathering feel like a celebration of women’s
sports. The festival feel of the weekend must be experienced.
