Low-cost carrier Frontier Airlines is rolling out a host of loyalty offers to reward both frequent customers and new passengers.
Among the just-added offers are new ways to earn companion certificates and a first-ever “miles match” promotion, which allows travelers to match their combined mileage balances across several airlines to their new Frontier loyalty account, up to a whopping 1 million miles.
“We’re proving that low-fare travel can also be the most rewarding,” said Bobby Schroeter, Frontier’s chief commercial officer. “With companion certificates, Miles Match from multiple airlines, and the opportunity to receive instant Elite Gold Status with Frontier, no other U.S. airline is giving travelers this much value.”
Frontier fliers can now earn companion travel certificates by using the Frontier Airlines World Mastercard. Travelers can earn multiple certificates, depending on how much they spend through January 2026. The certificates are valid for one year from issuance and cover airfare for a travel companion of the cardholder’s choice, with the cardholder only paying taxes and fees on the companion ticket.
Purchases made until January 31, 2026, will accrue companion certificates in the following amounts:
First certificate at $3,000 in purchases
Second certificate at $10,000 in purchases
Third certificate at $20,000 in purchases
Unlimited companion travel at $50,000 in purchases
Potentially even more lucrative is the airline’s new “miles match” offer. With the deal, new members of the Frontier Miles loyalty program can match up to 1 million miles of their combined mileage balances from several qualifying airlines. After travelers join Frontier’s loyalty program, the airline will match the amount of miles they have with other carriers, as long as they earn that same amount on Frontier flights within 12 months.
For example: “A traveler with 10,000 miles across other airlines who earns 10,000 miles with Frontier within 12 months will receive 20,000 FRONTIER Miles for future trips,” according to the carrier.
Travelers can also match a portion of their miles holdings with other airlines. If “you have 200,000 miles with other airlines, but only want to input 50,000 to match with Frontier over the next 12 months, you can just use that portion of your other airline balance; it does not need to utilize the entire total,” the airline says.
To enroll in the miles match offer, travelers must join the Frontier Miles program and complete an official offer form by September 26.
In addition to the two new loyalty offers, the airline is also offering elite status to other airlines’ loyalty members for a discounted rate of $69. That offer is valid for travelers with any level of loyalty membership with Southwest Airlines, JetBlue, Spirit, or Alaska Airlines and gives passengers Elite Gold status with Frontier. Travelers have until September 9 to take advantage of the elite status deal.
