Fueled by the second biggest sales day in 35 years, small group tour operator, G Adventures, is celebrating its most successful Black Friday/Cyber sale of all time with an over 30 percent increase in global sales and 37 percent in U.S. and Latin America sales.
The demand was so strong for travelers eager to lock in 2026 trips at unbeatable prices that G Adventures rolled out an extended Cyber Week to December 5.
Ben Perlo, chief executive officer at G Adventures, said in a statement, “It’s been a massive year for G Adventures with incredible innovation and record-breaking performance and, to end the year on such an incredible Black Friday period will turbocharge us into 2026.”
He added, “A huge thanks goes to our agent community around the world, whose energy, expertise and commitment has played an enormous role in all of our success over the past 12 months, and we’re just getting started!”
The Black Friday/Cyber Sale offered discounts of up to 30 percent on more than 550 trips departing in 2026, with Classic trip sales up 40 percent year on year. The relaunch of Arctic travelers seeking polar trips drove a 15 percent growth in Expedition sales. Young travelers (18 to 39) pushed the 18-to-Thirtysomethings sales to a 16 percent increase.
Though not included in the sale, demand for Geluxe, the company’s premium travel style catering to an older demographic of traveler seeking upgraded active experiences, saw a 33 percent increase in sales.
Asia was the favorite destination among travelers, followed by North Africa and South America. Peru, one of G Adventures most popular destinations with 66 trips in operation, saw a growth of 17 percent with Japan up 30 percent and South Korea 55 percent.
The MENA region (Middle East and North Africa) saw a huge demand upswing, with Jordan growing over 350 percent, Egypt nearly 200 percent and Morocco close to 40 percent.
