Travelers can take advantage of savings on Southeast Asia river cruises during Heritage Line’s Independence Day sale.
On voyages between August 2025 and April 2026, travelers can save $407 per guest, 40.7 percent off their first spa treatment, 4.7 percent off their final beverage bill and 17.76 percent off private excursion packages.
The promotion applies to bookings made now through July 31. With Heritage Line, travelers can sail the Lower Mekong River between Vietnam and Cambodia on a 7-night journey aboard The Jahan or Jayavarman.
The company also recently unveiled a new two-night itinerary through Bai Tu Long Bay, a lesser-known extension of Vietnam’s Halong Bay. Launching January 2, 2026, the new voyage is being offered aboard the six-suite ship Violet.
Bai Tu Long Bay is a protected marine region with strict limits on ship size, as well as the number of vessels sailing in the area.
The new Bai Tu Long Bay itinerary comes as Heritage Line ends its current Halong Bay offerings, which will operate through the end of 2025.
“This new itinerary truly redefines how travelers experience Halong Bay,” says Andreas Schroetter, director of sales and marketing at Heritage Line. “Bai Tu Long offers the most authentic and peaceful cruise experience in Northern Vietnam today. It feels like Halong Bay 15 to 20 years ago—unspoiled, intimate and full of discovery. That’s the essence of luxury we want to offer: access, space and substance.”
