Every year brings new travel trends, and for 2026, that includes the rise of wildly popular ‘glowcations.’
Not familiar with that term yet? It means travel that incorporates or focuses on skin health and restoration. (Not to be confused with a traditional spa vacation that includes all manner of self-care and pampering, beyond just skin care.)
According to Booking.com’s 2026 travel trends report, a staggering 80 percent of global travelers are open to taking a glowcation. Translation: They’re interested in trying at least one beauty or wellness treatment while away (Which many of us have been doing for years, but I digress).
Booking.com was merely one of the travel platforms to recognize the emerging glowcation trend for 2026. It’s a style of travel that has been acknowledged in nearly every 2026 travel trends report to be published, including National Geographic, which also predicted that 2026 would see a surge in ‘glowcations’, as travelers increasingly head overseas specifically for skincare and aesthetic treatments.
With all of the buzz around glowcations in mind, the Aruba Tourism Authority has helpfully rounded up a list of the top places globetrotters can indulge in this trend when visiting the Southern Caribbean island. If a glowcation is on your to-do list, read on for the top places in Aruba to make your skin-related vacation goals happen.
