Hosting and Application Process
General FAMs are hosted by members of Intrepid’s Partnerships
Teams providing advisors direct access to Intrepid Foundation partners in each
destination. Participation fees start as low as $400 USD, with a portion donated
to each destination. Through the 2026 FAM program, Intrepid expects to donate more
than $13,000 USD to local community organizations.
The application process has been streamlined for 2026 with a
single application covering all FAM opportunities giving advisors the ability
to select the trips they are interested in, reducing duplication and making it
easier to express interest across multiple destinations. Intrepid FAMs sport
high advisor demand and limited space. Applications for Central America close
December 31, 2025, while other applications close January 28, 2026.
“We know the best way for advisors to truly understand and
sell Intrepid is to experience it themselves,” said Laura Hernandez, Head of
Partnerships USA in a statement. “When advisors travel with us, they return
with confidence, stories, and a genuine connection to the destinations and
people behind the trips.”
She added, “These FAMs also allow advisors to have a
meaningful impact. They deepen their knowledge so they can send clients who
want to travel responsibly, and they help support local community organizations
through the Intrepid Foundation. It’s a win for advisors, travelers, and the
destinations themselves.”
