Northeasterners looking for a sunny escape this winter will have a wide array of new flight options to warm-weather locales, thanks to JetBlue’s latest expansion.
The budget carrier is adding new routes this December from New York and Boston to popular vacation destinations such as Florida, the Caribbean, and Latin America.
Starting on December 4, JetBlue will launch new daily, year-round service from New York (JFK) and Boston (BOS) to Daytona Beach, Florida (DAB), followed by daily year-round service from both Northeastern airports to Vero Beach, Florida (VRB), on December 11. The new launches mark JetBlue’s return to the Daytona market and its first-ever service to Vero Beach. Introductory fares on the routes start at $59 and $69, respectively.
Also in the New York area, the airline will begin two new seasonal routes from Long Island’s MacArthur Airport (ISP). On December 18, JetBlue will launch service from ISP to Fort Myers, Florida (RSW). The flight will operate three times per week through April 28, 2026. Then on December 19, the carrier will begin flights between ISP and Tampa, Florida (TPA). That route will operate four times per week through April 29, 2026. Introductory fares on both routes are as cheap as $49.
The seasonal flights join JetBlue’s three existing Florida routes out of Long Island, where it operates nonstops to Orlando, West Palm Beach, and Fort Lauderdale. “Florida continues to be a place JetBlue’s unique combination of low fares and great service resonates, and we’re proud to grow our footprint with these new destinations to meet customer demand for more of the Sunshine State,” said Dave Jehn, JetBlue’s vice president, network planning and airline partnerships.
“Whether it’s customers in the Northeast looking for a warm getaway or Floridians traveling north, we’re excited to bring more choices and better service to these markets.”

The airline will also expand its network in Latin America and the Caribbean. From Florida, the carrier will debut two routes to the Dominican Republic, with fares starting at $139. On December 13, daily, seasonal flights will begin from Fort Lauderdale (FLL) to Santiago de los Caballeros (STI), operating through January 19, 2026. Then on December 18, the carrier will launch year-round flights between Tampa and Punta Cana (PUJ).
JetBlue will also significantly grow its Caribbean and Latin America network from Boston, adding more frequencies across four routes this winter. On December 18, it will begin daily seasonal service from BOS to St. Thomas (STT), Liberia, Costa Rica (LIR), St. Maarten (SXM), and Nassau, Bahamas (NAS).
The carrier will also add second Saturday flights from Boston to Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands (GCM) and Bridgetown, Barbados (BGI), launching December 20 and January 10, respectively.
