Budget travelers looking for sunny getaways in the Caribbean and Latin America this winter will have a host of new flight options, thanks to JetBlue’s latest route expansion.
The carrier announced it plans to launch nine new routes from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) throughout November and December.
As part of the expansion, the carrier will launch seven new international routes in December to destinations in Honduras, Costa Rica, Colombia, and three Caribbean islands. Starting December 4, the carrier will begin 3x weekly service to Aruba (AUA) and Grand Cayman (GCM), 4x weekly service to Cartagena, Colombia (CTG), San Pedro Sula, Honduras (SAP), and St. Maarten (SXM), as well as daily service to Liberia, Costa Rica (LIR).
The airline will also bring a brand new destination to its route map: Cali, Colombia, with the launch date and route frequency still forthcoming.
JetBlue will also add two new domestic routes from FLL to New Orleans (MSY) and Pittsburgh (PIT), both of which launch November 1.
All of the new flights will operate year-round.
“As the top airline in Fort Lauderdale, with more departures than any other carrier on peak travel days, JetBlue is proud to keep raising the bar for customers in South Florida and to continue bringing them to the places they want to go,” said Dave Jehn, JetBlue’s vice president, network planning and airline partnerships. “By adding new routes and expanding service to top destinations, we’re giving travelers more opportunities to enjoy the comfort, quality service and value that sets JetBlue apart.”
The carrier also announced it would be adding more flight frequencies to nine popular existing routes in Fort Lauderdale, including to Atlanta (ATL), Hartford, Connecticut (BDL), Boston (BOS)
San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU), Cancun, Mexico (CUN), Kingston, Jamaica (KIN), Punta Cana, Dominican Republic (PUJ), San José, Costa Rica (SJO), and Santiago, Dominican Republic (STI).
Fares on all of the new flights are now available for purchase, except for the service to Cali, Colombia, which is still awaiting final government approval.
Throughout 2025, JetBlue has been focused on growing its presence in Fort Lauderdale. Earlier this year, it announced new routes from FLL to Guayaquil, Ecuador (GYE), Philadelphia (PHL), Atlanta (ATL), Austin (AUS), Norfolk (ORF), and Tampa (TPA). The carrier has also added additional aircraft outfitted with Mint business class cabins to the focus city and will offer a total of 13 daily Mint flights from Fort Lauderdale this winter.
