KHM Travel Group started the year living out one part of the company’s mission: educating travel agents. January’s Boot Camp 2.0 set the tone for a year focused on learning, growing, and developing new skills. Boot Camp 2.0 includes interactive sessions on business planning, myTravelCRM™, financial management, and marketing strategies. Rather than traditional presentations, attendees engage in hands-on exercises alongside fellow agents, creating an environment built on collaboration.
The beginning of March was extra meaningful as KHM Travel Group celebrated its 20th anniversary. A milestone like that deserved an equally memorable event, which was the Travel Weekly Magellan Award-winning Crystal Conference in Orlando. The week-long event gathered more than 500 attendees for an unforgettable experience filled with education, entertainment, networking, and plenty of Florida sunshine.
Spring brought renewed energy and strong momentum as KHM Travel Group welcomed agents to the first event held in the newly expanded Corporate Office event space. This Boot Camp 1.0 class thoroughly enjoyed diving into all the travel agent essentials, while getting to connect in person with staff.
In May, KHM Travel Group celebrated National Travel & Tourism Week with fun giveaways and special recognition of travel advisors through “Travel Agent Tuesdays.” This ongoing initiative highlights agent achievements and continues to be featured across KHM Travel Group’s social media platforms.
The season concluded with a 26% increase from the first quarter for new agents earning their first commission checks. Mid-June brought the highest total commission payout of $1.5 million in one week. The following week set another record, with more than 1,200 agents receiving a commission payment in a single week. These record-breaking earnings carried through the summer.

At the annual Destination Success event, KHM Travel Group introduced a fresh approach…and it quickly proved to be a success. The new “chart your own course” format allowed agents to choose the sessions they wanted to sign up for. Attendees learned from supplier partners, team members, and even their fellow agents through peer-led travel and business-focused presentations.
As fall began, the company turned its attention to enhancing the efficiency of host agency operations. Earlier in the year, KHM Travel Group implemented a bi-weekly automation for unclaimed commission notifications that has helped link over 10,000 bookings. It led to an increase of 1,800 additional bookings year-over-year – putting more commission into agents’ pockets. An additional automation was also introduced to get booking confirmations to agents faster.
September marked continued investment in professional development with several leadership promotions across the organization. The focus is always supporting agents, and development of the team enhances both customer service and program benefits.
Growth took on a whole new meaning in October when KHM Travel Group acquired Levarté Travel. Levarté Travel founder Lori Speers joined KHM Travel Group as Vice President of Business Development, bringing along her team and a spirited passion for helping travel advisors take their businesses to new levels.
October also featured continued investments in education. KHM Travel Group launched a series of new online courses featuring interactive video learning. New online courses cover topics like booking air, river cruising, travel protection, and more.
During the year, KHM Travel Group also established new partnerships with the Family Travel Association (FTA) and Wellness Tourism Association (WTA) that provided agents exclusive discounts and benefits. By aligning with respected industry organizations, KHM Travel Group continues to support agent growth through continued education and certifications.
No year in review for KHM Travel Group would be complete without sharing some of the amazing places that were visited with agents. Not including all the cities across the U.S. where events were hosted, the team traveled with agents to Mexico, Punta Cana, Jamaica, France, Vienna, New Zealand, Croatia, Colombia, Amsterdam, Italy, and more cruise ports than can be counted! It’s all with the goal of connecting agents to each other and the world.
